#1 June 2010

Acrylic on paper, 44 x 30 inches.

June 24, 2010
Monte Vista Studio, night.
Well, that 's all there is. In your face. The twisting of life and death always together in the spiral of time.

And, size. The May paintings were the slightly smaller 40 x 27 so as to fit for air transit in the large portfolio... and also to tame them for purchase and living in nicer homes of nicer people. But, who is ever going to buy that large image of my rainbow cock? Well, sorry about tame. I guess it's going to be Edward Said's "In the history of art, the late works are the catastrophes."

So, back to maximum size the paper comes in, the size that stretches my body as I work.
