Paintings #s 7a-f, April 2008
#7b, April 2008
All are acrylic on paper, 22 x 15 inches.
Paintings #7a-f came from a studio
note:
April 25, 2008.
Lac Oaureau, morning
An Artist’s Statement
And so the painting goes
Step by step
now where?
now why?
now when?
The highest mountain
The widest plain
The longest river
The deepest sea
The farthest desert
Or a distant cloud
Step by step
now where?
now why?
now when?
Note: I was driven first by sex,
then by building a community in which to live,
and now by saving what matters for those to come.
