The second group of large acrylics was the result of my finding out how to make at large scale the imagery of my book of etchings, Beulah Land, which had been published by Crown Point Press in 1966. The images were built out of the "corn sheller" I had found in a Sonoma County junk store, the quinces that were hanging on the tree in my back yard, and memories of the summers I had spent on a Sonoma County ranch when I was a child.
